Space Weather Forum in Schwerin, 19 November 2007

Venue

The Space Weather Forum took place in Schwerin Palace, House of Parliament of the local German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, on 19 November 2007 during the European Science Week.

The science forum was jointly moderated by Ms. Melanie Last and Dr. Frank Jansen. The forum was broadcast by a live video streaming through the internet; the recorded video (avi, 1 GB) is available. Note: a special video codec (ffdshow) may be required to view the Video.

The forum was composed of opening addresses, interviews/talk show with international space weather experts, a video link to Hobart/Australia, presentation of the new space weather film "The Breath of a Star" and of the new "Space Weather" DVD, and a "Solar Storm" dance show performed by the Deutsche Tanzkompanie Neustrelitz.
